My Music Motivation Masterpiece

I finally got around to putting together a Spotify playlist.  I hope you enjoy it.  My jam is definitely heavy on the 90s pop….I loved singing through all these songs as I added them to the playlist.

Some highlights: All Star, Space Jam, What’s my age again, and, of course, MmmBop.

Enjoy!  I can’t wait to take down a WOD to this playlist!

Spotify Playlist

Because writing this blog is a LOT more entertaining than working on my annual report, I thought I would share the playlist I started.

If you are on Spotify, look me up. I’m Laura Summerhill Deeter. I have a grand total of 6 followers (as of this writing) and would love to learn your music as well! But I have the play list detailed below started (Scaled2Perfection). Let us know what we should add!!!

Here are my TOP 12 songs, that when they show up, I manage to give a little extra and perhaps even bust a move or two. Let me tell you though, some of these have NEVER shown up in a workout, but my birthday WOD is in two days, and if I get the chance to pick some songs, I’m picking old school punk!

  1. Centuries – Fall Out Boy
  2. Fireball – Pitbull
  3. Lose Yourself – Eminem
  4. Turn Down for What – DJ Snake
  5. Paper Planes – MIA
  6. Anarchy in the UK – Sex Pistols
  7. London Calling – The Clash
  8. Holiday in Cambodia – Dead Kennedys
  9. Institutionalized – Suicidal Tendencies
  10. Livin La Vida Loca – Ricky Martin
  11. Gangsta’s Paradise – Coolio
  12. Pump It – Black Eyed Peas

I just realized I could add a few more to this list, but I won’t post the links. I’m sure you know these songs.

I neglected to put TBDBITL on my list out of deference to my WOD Sista, but truth be told, Le Regiment gets me amped up, as do any of the Ohio State University (notice my purposeful usage of the lower case) fight songs.

Now, GO with your songs!!!  The ones that pump you up, make you give a tad more, keep you going one more step (or 1000 more steps), a bit harder pull on the rower…whatever gets you moving!
